Receiving a "Lock not associated with merchant" error

This error means the bike you're scanning is not associated with the bike share you're logged into. 

To fix this open the LINKA GO app, and open the menu using the "hamburger" icon at the top left of your screen:

Then tap on the "Settings" option in the menu that opens:

Then tap on "Choose Bike Share"

Make sure you select the correct bike share for your community. Power to the Pedal users can only borrow bikes from the community they live at.

If you still recieve this error after following these steps, please contact us.

Receiving an "Account not authorized to use this service" error

This error means your LINKA GO account is not authorized to use the bike share you're logged into. 

Before following these troubleshooting steps, make sure you're signed up and authorized to use Power to the Pedal. Visit the sign up page to get started. Once you're signed up, you should receive an email or text message confirming that your account has been authorized.

To fix this open the LINKA GO app, and open the menu using the "hamburger" icon at the top left of your screen:

Then tap on the "Settings" option in the menu that opens:

Make sure your personal information on this page is correct, and that your email address matches what you entered on the sign up page.

Then tap "Choose Bike Share."

Make sure you select the correct bike share for your community. Power to the Pedal users can only borrow bikes from the community they live at.

How do I unlock the bike?

First, make sure you've downloaded and signed up for LINKA GO, the app our e-bikes can be loaned through. Make sure you select the correct bikeshare for the community you're a resident of. Then, complete our "SIGN UP" form here.

If you've already done all that, great! You're one step closer to riding. If you only recently signed up, it may take a while for the LINKA GO system to update your account to allow you to ride. Please reach out by filling out the form on the bottom of this page if it's been more than a few days and you still can't access the bikes.

To unlock a bike, first you must gain access to the bike locker or storage room. The codes are only available to residents of Red Rock Creek Commons and Greenburg Oaks Apartments. Please text us at (971) 802-0882, or contact us using the form below if you forgot the code for your community.

Now, open the LINKA GO app and press the "SCAN NOW" button at the bottom of your screen. This will open the camera on your phone. Point your phone's camera at one of the QR codes on the bike. There's one behind the seat on top of the battery, and one on the front of the bike facing you, below the handbars' stem.

If the bike is in working order the bike should begin unlocking!

Can I install or attach panniers, bags, baskets, phone holders, additional lights, etc?

Yes! Accessories are absolutely allowed to be attached to the Power to the Pedal bikes provided they are attached properly and securely, and can be easily removed when you are done riding.

Remember to remove any personal accessories you installed or attached to the bike when you are done riding.
